Hoesch Memorial Goes Live on Pioneer Bibliovation Union Catalog

North Bethesda, MD, September 12, 2014 – The Hoesch Memorial Public Library, located in Alma, Nebraska, is now live on the Pioneer Bibliovation union catalog for all collection and patron management services. With the accumulation of the Hoesch Memorial Public Library, the Pioneer Bibliovation union catalog now has over 620,000 bibliographic records and 1,600,000 items. The Hoesch Memorial Public Library has worked with LibLime Project Management to successfully migrate their bibliographic, item, and patron data into the union catalog.

The Hoesch Memorial Public Library is located in the City Park and has an annual circulation of over 20,000 transactions. Hoesch Memorial offers a variety of resources and programs to their user community including access to many online research databases, shut-in services, interlibrary loans, and now access to the holdings of the Pioneer union catalog.

The Pioneer Consortium continues to expand the number of members that share the Bibliovation union catalog. The success of the early members of the consortium have been rewarded as many other libraries throughout the state join the union catalog and expand the collections available for resource sharing.
