  • site-controlled custom templates for cataloging all types of material
  • direct links at the field level to the LoC MARC21 bibliographic rules
  • side-by-side record view and edit
  • support for MARC Bibliographic, Authority, and Holdings records
  • auto-complete of authority-controlled and authorized value-controlled fields and subfields
  • local control of bibliographic field/subfield combinations for defined picklists

Bibliovation is a feature rich, open source ILS, developed by academic librarians for academic librarians. The product is enhanced several times a year with functional improvements designed by Academic LibLime customers. Bibliovation uses Solr (by Lucene) for all searching and is offered as a hosted solution.
