There are two easy ways to enjoy open-source solutions through INCOLSA:

  • Join the ISLC (Indiana Shared Library Catalog)
  • Get discounted rates on LibLime products and solutions through INCOLSA membership (including Koha ILS, Evergreen, MasterKey and YakPac)

Indiana Cooperative Library Services Authority (INCOLSA) helps member libraries promote economic vitality, quality of life and lifelong learning. The mission of INCOLSA is to consolidate the strengths of its diverse membership through cooperative action and to provide superior service to member libraries and residents of Indiana on behalf of libraries. INCOLSA serves 768 member institutions, including 313 school corporations, 233 public library systems, 136 special libraries, and 86 colleges and universities. These member institutions represent more than 2,200 libraries throughout Indiana.

In 2007, INCOLSA selected Koha ZOOM for their integrated library system (ILS) and union catalog. The ISLC is a diverse, multi-type resource sharing network composed of 30 member libraries. LibLime's Koha ZOOM solution offers ISLC membership with a shared integrated library automation system, including a web-based union catalog and integrated circulation, acquisitions and serials control modules.

The ISLC migration is the first step in a partnership between INCOLSA and LibLime to offer affordable open-source automation solutions to INCOLSA's 768 member libraries. These offerings will include Koha ILS, Evergreen, MasterKey (a metasearch tool created by LibLime's strategic partner Index Data) and YakPac (a kids' OPAC add-on also created by Index Data)
