Project Manager

Job description: LibLime is seeking a Project Manager to join our team. The primary responsibility of this position would be to manage project implementations of Koha. The Project Manager will be the primary contact with the customer during a project implementation.

Status: Reports to Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer implementation projects
  • Initiate and coordinate the data analysis process for data migrations
  • Advise customers on configuration setup of Koha based on customer needs
  • Coordinate software installations and upgrades, help to perform initial software configurations, and provide first line support to customers during the implementation cycle
  • Communicate issues and requests to the members of the Koha development team
  • Provide post implementation analysis and support
  • Perform QA for new software releases and versions
  • Review and contribute to documentation for Koha

Requirements:

  • A keen interest in, and enthusiasm for, developments in Library and Information Science
  • Ability to manage several projects concurrently, including initial data analysis, project implementation, and post implementation analysis and support
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and both oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in data analysis and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with standards and experience working with MARC and/or other meta-data standards used in the library and information markets
  • Experience in a library or information service environment desirable
